  The 122nd High School Day Celebration at ISNHS was one heck of a day! It all started with a big parade where everyone from our school, even the teachers, marched together. We were all buzzing with excitement because they were going to give out an award for the most disciplined section. And guess what? Our section won! We were jumping for joy! After the parade, things got even more exciting. Each grade level put on these awesome performances showcasing different festivals like the Ilocos Sur Festivals and Sinulog Festivals. It was like a big party with everyone cheering and clapping for each other. I loved seeing all the colors and hearing the music it was so much fun! But the fun didn't stop there. After the festival performances, we headed to the gym for a mini concert. Both teachers and students got up on stage and performed all kinds of songs.   In celebrating National Women's Month 2024, we're sticking with the theme "WE for gender equality and inclusive society," introduced last year. This theme is all about showing how important it is for everyone to team up to make sure women and girls have the same chances as men and boys. The idea is simple: we need to be kind and work well together to make things fair for everyone. When we're compassionate and understand each other's struggles, we can support women better, especially those facing extra challenges because of their background. It's also about teaming up effectively. By joining forces like governments, groups, and businesses we can tackle big issues together. This means making sure women have a say in important decisions and breaking down barriers that hold them back, like unfair treatment based on gender, race, or where they come from.
